The Clerk-Treasurer's Office serves the town and its residents in many ways, including:

  • Receive and disburse all town money.
  • Oversee Human Resource responsibilities for the town.
  • Manage the finances and accounts of the town and make investments of town money.
  • Prepare the budget, estimates of miscellaneous revenue and financial statements.
  • Issue licenses and collect the fees fixed by ordinance.
  • Serve as the clerk of the legislative body by attending meetings and recording its proceedings.
  • Administer oaths.
  • Maintain public records
