Permit Applications

We are pleased to announce that the Griffith Building Department is now accepting online applications for permits.

We now offer 6 ways to apply for a permit; 

• Online - through our online portal
• Email - scan in and send to building@griffith.in.gov
• Fax - fax to 219-924-3840
• In person, town hall is open to the public
• Drop Box - We have drop boxes outside front and rear of town hall
• Traditional Mail - mail all correspondence to Griffith Building Department 111 N. Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319

Our online portal is a new system, so please be patient and work with us. Call us at 219-922-3091 for any questions. Constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.

Use the Building Permit Application for all building, pools, garages, sheds, fences, decks, windows & doors, and ect. Use the M.E.P. application for all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work. Or you can use our online application process and fill out the corresponding sections of the application.
