Child Safety Seat Inspection Service

The Griffith Police Department is an official Indiana Criminal Justice Institute Child Safety Seat Inspection Station.  Child Safety Seat Inspection Stations, such as the Griffith Police Department, are places where parents and caregivers can make an appointment to have their child safety seat inspected by an officer who is a certified child passenger technician.  During the inspection the officer will evaluate the way the child is currently traveling in the seat, check the child’s current restraint for recalls, proper fit, and proper installation.
