The Griffith Police Department responds to numerous requests annually to speak about safety and security with community groups. 

Speaker topics include, but are note limited to:

  • general safety tips
  • safety tips for seniors
  • safety tips for children
  • online computer safety
  • police K9 operations
  • child safety seat usage
  • drugs and addiction issues
  • domestic violence
  • general business security
  • and more

Guest speaker requests must be made at least 14 days in advance and should be made for groups of 10 or larger which contribute to the safety and welfare of residents and business owners.
