Food Resources: Response to COVID-19 government restrictions

As government restrictions increase in an effort to prevent exposure and spread of COVID-19, Griffith Police Department will continue to provide resource information to our residents in need. Food-related needs can be met in two ways:

~Griffith First Christian Church will be providing sack lunches daily to those in need from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. until supplies run out. **Children 18 years and younger must be present to receive a sack lunch.
Volunteers 18 years of age and older in good health are needed. Contact GFCC at 219.924.6840

~Food Bank of Northwest Indiana
Mobile Market is available to all Northwest Indiana residents in need of food assistance. Distributions are first come, first served while supplies last. Please bring proof of Indiana residency (ID, rent receipt, utility bill, etc.) and bags/boxes to carry items.
